Medium Term Accommodation (MTA) & Hospital Discharge
Transitional housing and support while your long-term accommodation is arranged.
What is Medium Term Accommodation (MTA) & Hospital Discharge?
Medium Term Accommodation (MTA) provides funded temporary housing for NDIS participants who need somewhere to live while their long-term housing is being arranged. This is particularly relevant for participants transitioning from hospital, aged care facilities, or other temporary arrangements.
Our Hospital Discharge Program supports participants who are ready to leave hospital but whose home environment or long-term accommodation is not yet ready. We work closely with hospital discharge teams, allied health, and the NDIA to ensure smooth, safe transitions.
MTA is designed to bridge the gap — keeping participants supported and stable while their permanent housing solution is finalised.
